The grissino is one of the most famous and widespread products of Turin gastronomy, as well as one of the best known of Italian cuisine abroad.
The name “grissino” derives from ghërsa, the classic Piedmontese bread with an elongated shape.
Grissini are long, crispy loaves of bread dough, the origins of which are said to date back to 1600.
